IEM Completes Acquisition of Rotary UPS Division of KS Techniques in Belgium

Fremont, CA, USA, March, 2014 – Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM), the largest independent full-line manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment in North America, in cooperation with its related IEM Power Systems (IEMPS), recently completed the acquisition of operating assets and IP of the Rotary UPS division of the Belgian company, KS Techniques. IEMPS will operate an existing RUPS facility in Belgium using the experienced and highly qualified existing work force.
With this acquisition, IEMPS significantly enhances its position as a leading provider of reliable, cost effective, and efficient power solutions for the mission critical and related markets. The transaction will allow the IEM companies to expand further globally in key power-intensive segments and strengthen its overall product offering to new and existing customers.
