Fremont, CA, June, 2011 – IEM, the largest independent full-line manufacturer of electrical and power quality equipment in the U.S., recently completed a series of UL witnessed tests to UL list (UL 67) Schneider PowerPact breakers (in addition to GE and Siemens molded-case breakers) rated to 1200A as available devices on IEM’s panelboard line. The addition of the PowerPact breaker provides customers added flexibility by offering an additional line of breakers for selective coordination and series rating. The panels are rated to 600V and 100kA.

IEM switchboards were also UL listed (UL 891) to use PowerPact breakers on its “CDP” panelboards rated to 4000A and 100 kA. The CDP panelboards previously utilized UL listed GE and Siemens molded-case breakers including new Siemens VL breakers.

“Adding the UL listed PowerPact breaker provides for further flexible and custom solutions,” said Don Kozerski, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at IEM. “IEM has continually demonstrated that we are committed to offering the best possible component selection for our customers.”
